12th annual San Juan Brewfest – September 11, 2010
Sponsored by Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort and supported by CookManFood.com, this is Durango’s only real beer festival. Over 25 breweries have already signed up to attend this year’s event! Taste of the Seasons – December 2, 2010
United Way’s only fundraiser for Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Held each year at Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery, this event is the first holiday event of the season. Taste of the Seasons – Thursday December 3
Hosted and sponsored by Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery in Dolores, this annual wine and food tasting event is the first holiday event of the season. Four Seasons goes all out each year and decorates their beautiful facility for the holidays. Tickets are only $25. Wonderful food, fun and fundraising!  Wolf Creek Ski Day – January 20
Wolf Creek Ski Day is a fun way to get out of the house and enjoy the incredible snow on top of the Continental Divide. Wolf Creek has received 189" of new snow so far, so there is plenty of powder for everyone. Adult lift tickets are only $42 and Senior/Child tickets are only $24 on the day of the event.
A portion of the ticket price is donated to United Way of Southwest Colorado.

 Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Seconds Sale
This annual event will be held in November at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Get incredible deals on yummy chocolates while supporting United Way and other local causes. Check back here for exact date and details.
 March Madness at Pagosa Brewing Company
Sponsored by La Plata Electric Association, this event will be held during the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Fun, food, games and good times. Check back here for more details and exact date.
 Bodo Bash at Ska Brewery’s World HQ – October 22
Sponsored by La Plata Electric Association, this is the second year of this fun event. This year’s Bodo Bash made over $600 for United Way in just two hours! Special thanks to Holly and the crew at Ska’s Tasting Room, the Scrugglers for the fine entertainment, Zia for the food, and to all who attended.

 13th Annual Radiothon ~ September 11
This year’s Radiothon included a live auction, blood drive and salute to community responders in honor of the 1st National Day of Service and Remembrance. It was yet another great day for United Way. We raised over $52,000!!!!! Thanks to Four Corners Broadcasting first and foremost for 13 years of this event! We also want to thank Larry Holiday, American Tel-Com, Qwest, Brainstorm, Beasley Design, CookManFood.com, DAAR, The Town of Ignacio, Mercury Payment Systems, JC Penney, all our volunteers, all businesses and individuals that donated an item, and everyone who made a bid.

 11th Annual San Juan Brewfest – Sunday August 30
Sponsored by Purgatory and supported by CookManFood.com, this year marked the 11th consecutive year of this event. Purgatory chose United Way to be its charity partner a year ago and this year the event took off! We made over $8,000 in one day! 14th Annual United Way & Durango High Noon Rotary Golf Tournament – July 17, 2009
This is United Way’s longest standing fundraiser and supports the Durango High Noon Rotary Club as well as United Way. This year’s tournament was sponsored once again by Wells Fargo Bank and was held at Dalton Ranch Golf Club. United Way and High Noon Rotary shared $20,000 after the event was over! Both organizations keep the funds local and use them to help local organizations and people who are in need. Click here for photos of this event.
