Each year, UWSWC fundraises for the benefit of our Community Partner organizations. Instead of distributing the funds raised between all Community Partners, we have created a Competitive Grant process that allows our donor’s dollars to make an even greater impact to those who need it most. Competitive Grant funds may be used for programmatic or operational needs.

The Competitive Grant is open to current UWSWC Community Partners. The application opens annually in February and is due April 30. Our volunteer review committee gathers information and makes final funding decisions for each grant application by June 30 each year. If awarded, your organization will be notified and funded July 1.

Whether you are awarded a competitive grant or not, your organization will still be a UWSWC Community Partner and able to take advantage of all our Community Partner Benefits.
